Disston D8 28″ 6 point rip saw from 1900. Saw blade is clean with light tarnish and nice etch, 7 5/8″ high at heel. Apple handle has minor wear and 98% finish.
This is a nice example of a saw from the Golden Age of Disston’s saw making. Wide and deep blade which is heavily breasted makes for a great rip saw that cuts smooth and comfortable. Can be used to rip dressed or rough stock, this is a nice all around saw.
As with all our first quality saws, this saw arrives sharp, set and ready to cut.
