Includes filing and setting your saw to ensure proper function, to include a test cut in hardwood (or softwood if that is the primary use). This service does not include any cleaning or other maintenance. It depends on the teeth being regular enough to machine file, which is the most accurate way to prepare saw teeth for use.

We use a 6 degree rake angle for rip saws and 12 degrees for cross cuts. Additionally, we use a standard fleam angle of 20 degrees for cross cut saws. If you require other settings, please indicate that at time of order. We have found through many years of work that these yield the best results for almost all woodworking tasks. Price is per saw.
